During World War II, an Air Force Radar Station was built in Kingman at 1000 Radar Hill Street.

No longer in use as an Air Force facility, today it is ideally located for cellular, PCS, high-speed wireless data, paging and two-way radio communications systems serving the Kingman area. The site is not accessible to visitors.
 
During the Christmas season
you can see a huge lighted tree on top of Radar Hill.
