The Hotel Brunswick was originally built in 1909. It was the first three story building for counties around. Being close to the train depot it was a favorite place to stay for many early travelers.
In 2012 the hotel was purchased by a man with the knowledge and resources to bring the hotel back to life. He did restore it so that you were able to step into the Hotel Brunswick lobby and go back through the years to the early 1900's. It was an opportunity to relive this nostalgic era surrounded by the ambience, furnishings and décor of that time.
Celebrities such as Clark Gable were known to have spent time within the walls of the Brunswick.
